HGC Engineering is an acoustical consulting firm, specializing exclusively in acoustics, noise and vibration. We commonly work closely with architects, developers and structural engineers by reviewing drawings and providing recommendations for enhanced interior acoustics and low levels of noise or vibration.
Our services are often called upon for environmental noise and vibration issues, industrial workplace noise and vibration concerns and acoustical issues for sensitive spaces.
Key areas of expertise include the design of building vibration isolation systems. HGC uses Finite Element Analysis techniques to isolate structures affected by ground-borne vibration from subway and railway sources. We also apply Sound Intensity measurement techniques for determining sound power ratings of equipment and products.
